A plane of Russia’s Emergencies Ministry will take from Turkey to Russia three Russian nationals, who require urgent high-technology medical assistance, the ministry’s press service told TASS on Saturday.
"An Antonov-148 has taken off from the Ramenskoye airport near Moscow and heads for Turkey," the press service said. "From Izmir and Antalya, a child and two adults will be evacuated as they require high-technology medical assistance."
The patients will be taken to hospitals in Krasnodar, St. Petersburg and Moscow.
The An-148, used for the medical evacuation, is equipped with special medical modules to offer medical services on board.
Medical staff of the ministry’s rescue centre and psychologists will accompany the patients and their relatives during the flight.
