
The Emirati-Egyptian voluntary medical team has provided medical care to 3000 children and elderly patients in the area of Khairallah in Cairo governorate as part of the joint voluntary initiative of the Zayed Giving Initiative, the Saudi - German hospital, Dar Al Ber Society, Ain Shams Hospital, Egyptian Volunteer Society and Emirates Volunteer Association.
Dr. Jalal Al-Said, Governor of Cairo praised the effective participation of the UAE and Egyptian voluntary team, which has provided free treatment through the medical convoys of UAE-Egyptian mobile volunteer hospital.
Dr. Adel Al Shamri, CEO of the Zayed Giving Initiative, said, that hundreds of Emirati and Egyptian doctors have volunteered to treat the needy patients by donating 500 hours of work for free to contribute to the humanitarian efforts of Zayed Giving Initiative, confirming the importance of voluntary and humanitarian work laid by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
