The expansions were opened on behalf of Sheikh Humaid by Hamad bin Ghlaita Al Ghafli, Member of the Federal National Council, in presence of the UAE Ambassador to Jordan Bilal Rabee Al Bodour.
Al Ghafli said the field hospital, which is part of the UAE contributions to alleviate suffering of needy people, provides services to more than 1,000 patients a day.

He added that the hospital expansion works started after a visit made by His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi to the hospital, during which, he issued his directives to construct a section for surgeries, in addition to eye and ENT clinics.
