The European Union mission in Sudan launched the second phase of a health project in eastern states at a value of 4.5 million euros.
The project is being carried out in the eastern states of the Red Sea, Kassala and Al Qadarif. It targets 1.8 million residents.
The EU and Sudanese government are closely cooperating to provide health services for needy persons in eastern states, head of the EU Delegation to Sudan Tomas Ulicny said.
