Health care programme for social pensioners now applicable in Assiut

Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab visited on Monday a health unit at an Assiut village to witness the launching a health care program for social pension beneficiaries totaling 123,511.
The program services, that comes as part of the new medical insurance system, will be offered to social pension beneficiaries through 64 units and four hospitals, the health minister said.
Today the program is applicable in Assiut, three Canal governorates and North and South Sinai while by the end of July the program will be available nationwide, he added.
