Minister of Health, Sadiq Bin Abdul Karim Al-Shehabi, inspected the readiness of Budaiya coastal clinic today, accompanied by Assistant Undersecretary for Primary Care and Public Health Dr. Mariam Al Jalahma, the Director of Health Centers, Sima Zainal, Head of Nursing for Primary Care, Fatima Al Jaib, and a number of officials and the health cadre of the clinic. During the visit, the Minister announced the actual opening of Budaiya Coastal Clinic on Sunday, 18 November 2012, but the official opening will be later. The establishment of the clinic project came in line with the directives of the Prime Minister, HRH Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, in order to facilitate enjoying the health services by citizens in general and the people of Budaiya area in particular. Budaiya Coastal Clinic provides serves for about 8 thousand people from the area of Budaiya and Jasra, including 10 blocks (550, 552, 553, 555, 557.1001, 1002.1003, 1004.1006). The clinic includes a number of sections represented in the records department, two doctors clinics, a dental clinic, childcare and maternity care services, , Nursing Department, Pharmacy Department, and the Department of the laboratory. Minister of Health expressed his thanks for all involved in the preparation of Budaiya Coastal Clinic, in particular Ministry of Housing for its assist and support for the Ministry of Health and its contribution in accelerating the accomplishment and equipping of that clinic in accordance with the required engineering and health specifications.
