Health minister makes surprise visit to Nasr City hospital

Health Minister Adel El Adawy made a surprise visit Tuesday to the Nasr City Health Insurance Hospital.
Following the inspection of work flow at the hospital, the minister voiced disappointment for the poor services provided in one of the biggest hospitals.
During the visit, he double checked the quality assurance system and took disciplinary actions against the workers.
Earlier, the minister removed head of hospital and assigned his assistant in his place for three months.
Media reports unveiled during the past two days a gross negligence when patients were seen suffering very poor service and spotting snakes in the dialysis unit room.
