The Health Ministry contributed to offering preventive services in several African countries, said Health Minister Ahmed Emad el Din Rady.
This came during a press conference held by the minister on the sidelines of "Africa 2016" forum in Sharm el Sheikh.
The Health Ministry helped Sudan in preventing the spread of bilharzia by providing it with large quantities of equipment and medicine, said Rady.
Also, the efficiency of the Sudanese teams to combat bilharzia was raised through taking a training in Ismailia and Fayed in Egypt, added the minister.
The Health Ministry also offered preventive measures to four African countries from 2005 to 2011 in field of polio, he said.
