
Minister of Health, Dr. Saad al-Nayef, said on Thursday that the ministry provided medical equipment to the National Hospital in Lattakia province and large amounts of qualitative medicines.
In a meeting with doctors and nurses in Lattakia province, Minister al-Nayed stressed the ministry is permanently working to offer best services to the citizens everywhere in Syria in spite of the current circumstances facing Syria for more than three years.
Al-Nayed pointed out that the ministry allocated more than 18,000,000 polio vaccination doses within a series of national vaccination campaigns that will be accomplished by the end of the year
He added that USD 1,000,000 from the Iranian credit line to provide medicines to combat Communicable diseases, epidemics and cancer, noting that over 23 ambulances will arrive from Iran.
The minister said that two medicine factories will start production very soon after medical security in Syria retreated to 85% due to the current crisis.
