
Higher Election Committee under Counselor Ayman Abbas said the former medical reports of candidates for the coming parliamentary elections could be valid after taking the opinion of the health minister to ease up measures for candidacy to the coming parliamentary elections.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Spokesman for the HEC Counselor Omar Marawan said the committee has contacted heads of Misr Bank, the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and the Post Authority to give bank statements to the candidates in order to be attached with their papers in all governorates.
HEC asserted that it will be ready for any questions about the election process.
