Honduran official acclaims Kuwait Red Crescent Society global humanitarian role

Honduran Foreign and International Relations Ministry Undersecretary Maria Del Carmen Nasser De Ramos lauded Monday the great humanitarian role of Kuwaiti leadership and institutions, especially the Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS), in helping people in distress across the globe.
In statements to reporters after a meeting with KRCS Chairman Hilal Al-Sayer, De Ramos spoke highly about His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah's hallmarks in the humanitarian field.
She also expressed admiration of the KRCS's role in alleviating the suffering of the disaster-stricken people in the four corners of the globe.
De Ramos said that she had discussed with Al-Sayer the possibility of the KRCS's support to her country's healthcare sector to tackle a number of spreading diseases in Honduras.
For his part, Al-Sayer welcomed De Ramos' visit to Kuwait.
He added that the KRCS is doing all in power to respond to the humanitarian appeals from any part of the world.
