The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) announced Thursday that it finished rehabilitating al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital located in central Gaza Strip in cooperation with the Palestinian Health Ministry.
In a press statement, the ICRC said that the hospital is the only one in the central area that provides services to more than 300.000 citizens.
The rehabilitation process aims at offering medical care to those harmed by the last war atop of the committees' priorities, the statement reads.
The ICRC further said that it will save no efforts to improve the humanitarian conditions of the civilians harmed by conflicts.
Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital was raided by the Israeli forces last summer.
