Illinois high school shuts down for second day after stomach virus outbreak

An Illinois high school has told students to remain home for a second day due to a stomach virus affecting nearly a third of its 2,500 students, reported the United States TV network CNN on Wednesday.
About 800 students were ill with norovirus-like symptoms and the school was working with Illinois Department of Public Health to clearly identify the virus and taking norovirus procedures in the meantime.
