The father of the Iranian girl "Mary," whose treatment in the Kingdom was ordered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for agreeing to treat his daughter and facilitating the procedures for coming with her family to Riyadh. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Ahmed said that King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud alleviated their great concern for their four-years old daughter by approving her treatment at King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh. Ahmed said that his daughter suffers from a rare illness (Basidiobolomycosis) - a mysterious fungal infection which mimics small intestinal and colonic tumor - requiring a speedy treatment. He pointed out that he sensed from the KFSH's medical team treating his daughter signs of improvement of her health condition.
