The Jordan Armed Forces on Thursday sent a supply convoy for Jordan’s military field hospital in the Gaza Strip, dubbed "Gaza 21". The initiative came in response to directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II to Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mashal Mohammad Zaben to take the necessary measures to enhance capabilities of the field hospital to enable it to continue its medical services to Palestinians and ease their suffering caused by the aggression on Gaza. Since its deployment in the coastal enclave in 2009, the hospital has treated 929,000 Palestinian patients and conducted 116,000 minor and major surgeries.
