
Minister of Environment and Acting Health Minister Taher Al Shakhshir and the Foreign Minister of the Comoros Islands, Arif Sayed Hassan, voiced their keenness to strengthen relations between the two countries in the field of health. At a meeting in Amman today, the two ministers also agreed to boost coordination among the health institutions of both the countries and exchange expertise in the field. AL Shakhshir pointed to the accomplishments made by Jordan in the health and medical fields as well as the potential it has in the pharmaceutical, medical tourism and health domains, noting that Jordan was ready to provide the Comoros with health related expertise. Hassan voiced his country's willingness to benefit from Jordan's experience in the health domain and promote cooperation in this field.
