
Minister of Health of Iraqi Kurdistan, Rekawt Rashid Karim, expressed his country's willingness to promote health cooperation with Jordan through recruiting qualified personnel and establishing health boards along the lines being followed in Jordan.
The Secretary General of High Health Council, Hani Amin Brosk Kurdi, briefed the Iraqi minister on the Council’s duties and its importance in drawing up an integrated health policy with the participation of all authorities of the public health sector in Jordan.
They also discussed ways of cooperating and promoting the partnership with regard to issues of common interest, including health issues.
The Iraqi minister stressed the importance of benefiting from Jordan's experience in the field of restructuring its health sector as well as organizing the work of the public and private sectors in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.
