
Jordan will take part in the 41st ordinary meeting of the Arab Health Ministers’ Council and its executive office that begins at the headquarters of the Arab League’s Secretariat General in Cairo tomorrow. The two-day meeting will discuss a host of issues pertaining to health and humanitarian conditions of Syrian refugees in neighbouring countries, heath and humanitarian conditions in Palestine and the Arab strategy to combat AIDS. The agenda will also include preparations for the Arab economic and social development summit and meetings of the health ministers of Arab countries and countries of South America scheduled to be held in Peru on April 2 in addition to the issue of Arab-Chinese health cooperation. Jordan’s delegation to the meetings is led by Health Minister Ali Hiyasat.
