The field hospital's commander Colonel Barakat Al Aqil told Petra that staff of the hospital began its mission in implementation of the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II to alleviate the suffering of Gazans.
Suleiman Saudi, hospital director, indicated that upon HRH Crown Prince Hussein’s directives, a number of clinics at the facility were opened to meet the needs of Palestinians in the strip, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
