Kuwaiti amiri diwan minister receives renowned doctors

Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah received on Sunday the visiting Sir Magdi Habib Yacoub, the renowned Egyptian-born British cardiothoracic surgeon, currently Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Imperial College London.
Dr. Yacoub was accompanied by the top Dr. Jassem Al-Suwaidi, also a cardiologist, Dr. Mark Redford and the Kuwaiti cardiologist Dr. Fareedah Habib.
The minister welcomed Dr. Yacoub and his delegation for being in the country.
The famous doctor during the meeting talked about his efforts in establishing philanthropic associations in developing nations, namely a cardiology hospital In Aswan, Upper Egypt.
