
The Health Minister Dr. Ali Al-Obaidi on Sunday presided over a meeting of the central emergency committee and crises management reviewing preparations and plans for urgent response.
The committee outlined the urgent and necessary needs for the implementation of the state's health emergency plan, its modernization and training to carry it out, he said in a press statement.
Members of the committee also reviewed readiness of state hospitals and health centers in emergency cases, and scenarios of the different crises, he said.
He said that plans have been set to launch field training for staff in several hospitals to be assured of the state of readiness.
