
Director of the Goma General Hospital in North Kivu Richard Bitwe Mihanda in Kinshasa sent a letter of thanks to Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry in appreciation of dispatching medical aid to the African country, said Egypt's Ambassador in Kinshasa Hany Salah.
The move came in appreciation of Egypt's efforts in promoting ties with Democratic Republic of Congo, added the ambassador.
Egypt dispatched a medical aid shipment, worth 300,000 dollars, offered from the Egyptian Agency of Partnership for Development, which is affiliated to the Foreign Ministry, to Goma General Hospital in Kinshasa, said the ambassador.
