
Mubarak Hospital have added a medicine dispenser machine to the list of its online medical and pharmaceutical services, said an official here Sunday.
In a press release, head of Hawalli governorate health department Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Farhood said that the dispenser machine will provide medical prescriptions to patients through the Mubarak Hospital's online pharmacy system, noting that the step will hopefully lessen human error and speed up process to receive medicine.
The machine was on trial basis for a period of one year, said the official, noting that it was part of the online pharmacy system that cost USD 300,000.
The medicine dispenser machine is linked to Mubarak Hospital's online pharmacy system which allows doctors to send prescriptions to the pharmacy attendants who will collect the medicine from the machine and hand to the patients.
