Netherlands reports second MERS case

A second Dutch case of the deadly Middle EastRespiratory Syndrome (MERS) coronavirus has been confirmed, the Dutch NationalInstitute for the Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) has announced .This came just a day after the country confirmed the first case.There have been over 500 confirmed MERS cases since 2012.MERS infections can cause severe respiratory symptoms, especially to people withother health problems, and diarrhea symptoms may also occur.
