Abu Dhabi centre to offer better management services to farmer. The UAE residents can expect more locally-produced fruits and vegetables in the market, thanks to a new initiative in Abu Dhabi.Abu Dhabi has already announced its plan to increase the market share of local produce to 40 per cent in the next five years from the current share of about 15 per cent.Sometimes farms in Abu Dhabi become non-operational or fall into disrepair when owners do not get enough time to oversee the farm, because many farm owners are living far away from their farms.Since it affects the overall productivity and availability of local vegetables and fruits, Abu Dhabi Farmers Service Centre (ADFSC) has put in place a mechanism to provide management services to farm owners who face practical difficulties in managing the farms.
