
A new Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) coronavirus case was reported in Taif city, Saudi Arabia and no death has been confirmed, according to a recent statistic by Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health.
A Saudi man was infected with the virus, leading the number of people infected to 756 since it emerged in 2012, the Ministry said in a statement on Sunday.
At least 320 of the infected people died, however 427 others recovered and seven are being treated, it added.
Earlier in the day, Deputy Chief of Health Ministry's Command and Control Center Dr. Anis Sinaidy announced that there have been no confirmed cases of the Corona virus, nor any suspicion of the Ebola virus among pilgrims.
He pointed out that there were 134 suspected cases of Corona and all have proved negative.
