
HE Minister of Public Health Abdullah bin Khalid Al Qahtani met a number of delegates participating at the World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH 2015), currently held at Qatar National Convention Center.
In this context, Al Qahtani met separately with Somali Minister of Health Hawa Hassan Mohamed, South Africa's Minister of Health Aaron Motsoaledi, Moldovan Deputy Minister of Health Dr. Andrei Usatii, South Korea's Deputy Minister of Health and Social Welfare Choi Younghyun, Peruvian Health Ministry's Secretary-General Silvia Reyes Zarate, U.S. Aetna Chairman and CEO Mark Bertolini, and Institute Curie President Thierry Philip.
Discussions during the meetings focused on bilateral relations and ways of strengthening cooperation in health affairs in addition to the issues raised at the conference.
Participants expressed their satisfaction and pleasure over their participation at the event, pointing to its significance in scientific debate on health issues, finding creative practical solutions and approaches, and showcasing the best health initiatives.
A number of heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Qatar and delegations accompanying them attended the meeting along with senior officials from the Supreme Council of Health (SCH).
