Russia’s agricultural watchdog found coliform bacteria in Chile’s trout and frozen cooked mussels, Rosselkhoznadzor’s press service said on Saturday. “Laboratory tests showed that a frozen trout exported by Chile’s Agroindustrial Santa Cruz LTDA contained listeria and frozen trout from Salmones Andes S.A. and a batch of frozen cooked mussels from FYS CHILE S.A. contained a group of coliform bacteria,” Rosselkhoznadzor said in its statement noting that it imposed a temporary ban on the export of products from the above-mentioned companies. Chile’s veterinary service was notified of inadmissibility of such violations.
