Saudi health ministry employs international experts for efforts promotion

Ministry of Health has employed permanently international experts from Disease and Epidemiology Control of the United States of America throughout the year through an agreement signed recently, within the preventive efforts being exerted by the Ministry's Command and Control Center.
The Ministry has activated its agreement with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the United States of America to cooperate in a survey program on reasons for the spread of infectious and non-infectious diseases and provide training support for Saudi specialists in epidemiology field via Epidemiology Program (FETP).
This academic program, which was launched in cooperation with CDC and King Saud University, aims at promoting mechanisms of understanding the occurrence and spread of diseases in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
