
As part of Egypt's support of the African countries, the second Egyptian medical convoy arrived in Equatorial Guinea on Thursday.
Egypt's Ambassador to Malabo Mohamed Kazem and leading Arab Contractors Company officials in Equatorial Guinea Ahraf Fahmy and Adel el Sayed received the convoy upon arrival.
This medical convoy is considered the second and includes 14 doctors, said the Egyptian Embassy in Malabo in a statement.
The first convoy was sent in January of 2015 as part of Egypt's support of Malabo during its organizing the African Cup of Nations.
Later on, Equatorial Guinea's President Teodoro Nguema submitted a direct request to dispatch the second convoy, which is scheduled to visit several areas in Malabo and offer medical services in the various specializations.
