Marking his official visit to Czech’s capital Prague, Deputy Premier, Shaikh Khalid Bin Abdullah Al Khalifa met this afternoon with Czech Republic’s Minister of Health, Dr Leos Heger. Both sides discussed ways of cooperation in the health and medical areas between Kingdom of Bahrain and Czech Republic, and reinforcing and developing those relations through exchanging expertise, and benefit from the available medical capacities and services in the two countries. Shaikh Khalid stressed the keenness of Kingdom of Bahrain’s government to provide the best medical services to its citizens in accordance with high quality standards, using latest technologies in the area of health care, as well as establishing database concerned with the individual’s medical condition. Shaikh Khalid expressed Bahrain’s welcome and encouragement to invest in the health sector and supporting the initiative and projects aiming at achieving sustainable development of the health facilities in both public and private sectors. Shaikh Khalid also lauded the advanced level of health and therapeutic services in Czech Republic, highlighting Bahrain’s aspirations to benefit from the Czech experience in the field of curative resorts, and its experiences in developing the medical services in Czech Republic. For his part, the Czech Health Minister welcomed Deputy Premier, Shaikh Khalid’s visit to Czech Republic, stressing the importance of the visit in achieving a prominent progress on the level of consolidating relations between the two countries in all areas.
