
Supreme Council for Health (SCH) held its monthly meeting, under the chairmanship of the Minister of State for Defence Affairs and SCH's chairman Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, in the presence of Health Minister and SCH's Deputy Chairman Sadeq Al-Shihabi, Undersecretary of Ministry of Health Dr. Aisha Bu-Onq and a number of SCH's members.
Shaikh Mohammed expressed delight for holding the meeting as Bahrain celebrates the remarkable success of parliamentary and municipal elections, which is a pillar of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's reform project.
SCH's Secretary-General Ebrahim Al-Nawakhda said that the meeting addressed the workflow in the major projects, which are National Health Accounts (NHA), National Central Ambulance and National Health Insurance Project.
The panel discussed the three projects, the preparations and needs to implement them, and Shaikh Mohammed expressed the importance of the projects and coordination among related authorities so as to commit to the projects' framework and outcome.
He expressed thanks to SCH's members, authorities and individuals in charge of implementing the aforementioned projects, which are followed-up by SCH.
