Here're some healthy food options for you in summers: 1 The right breakfast menu: Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and one must never skip it. For the summer, one can have oats/muesli with cold milk and nuts and a cool fruit, orange, melon, and grapes. 2 The right liquids: The temperature of food does not result in weight gain, but the composition, how many calories, nutritive value of the drink in terms of proteins, carbohydrates, fat, vitamins and minerals. One can have salted lemon water, buttermilk, coconut water, which are low in calories and high in salts. 3 Avoid street food: Many diseases like headache, stomach ache, and skin rashes occur in this weather due to dehydration or eating outside food. Hence, make sure you keep yourself well hydrated and try and avoid street food. On an average, every individual needs one gram of protein per kilogram of body weight. Sources of good quality protein are eggs, meat, fish, poultry, milk and milk products like cheese and paneer.
