The Health Authority in Abu Dhabi (HAAD) reported Tuesday discovery of three new cases of the deadly Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (MERS-CoV). The new cases were identified through screenings for contacts of affected individuals and that they are all asymptomatic. In its statement, the HAAD confirmed that the current situation is not a public health concern and that it is coordinating with the Ministry of Health (MOH) and other authorities in the country, and has taken all necessary measures as per international standards and recommendations from the World Health Organisation (WHO). The HAAD advised the public to follow these tips to help prevent respiratory illnesses: wash hands often with soap and water for 20 seconds, and help young children do the same. If soap and water are not available, use hand sanitizer. Coronavirus, which can cause coughing, fever and pneumonia, has been affecting in people in the Gulf, France, Germany, Italy, Tunisia and Britain. Scientists say they believe dromedary camels in the Middle East may be the animal "reservoir" which is fuelling the outbreak
