WHO: Egypt achieved progress in health field

Director General of the World Health Organization Margaret Chan announced that Egypt achieved noticeable progress in the field of health specially in combating hepatitis C virus and bird flu.
A statement issued by the Ministry of Health on Tuesday said Chan lauded Health Minister Adel el Adawi's efforts to get the sovladi with a price not exceeding 1% of its international price which caused a decrease in the price of the drug not only in Egypt but worldwide.
