The bark of the jamun tree is used to cure urinary disorders, de-worming, and also in herbal medicines by traditional healers. The leaves have antibacterial properties and are used for strenghthening teeths and gums. It's also used to stop bleeding. Studies have also indicated that that it helps in the prevention of cancer, arthritis and heart disease.
