Minister of Public Health and Population Ahmed al-Ansi discussed on Saturday with Cuban ambassador to Yemen, Oscar de los Reyes, the cooperation areas in the health area. The meeting touched on the results of the minister’s recent visit to Cuba and the agreement that have been signed during the visit, especially with regard to the urgent topics such as the cardiac surgery at the Military Hospital in Sana'a. Al-Ansi confirmed the need to develop the cooperation aspects between the two countries to include all levels, including the trade level, which has been initiated in the field of medicines for the Tumors Center in Sana'a. For his part, the Cuban ambassador confirmed that he will do his best to speed up the implementation of the agreements signed between the two countries regarding the urgent topics.
