The Zayed Giving Initiative has launched a new mobile medical unit for the treatment of children. The free service uses the latest diagnostic and therapeutic technology under the supervision of senior doctors and surgeons from international teaching hospitals.
Moza Al Otaiba, member of Zayed Giving Initiative, said the initiative seeks to specifically help the children and needy, noting that the medical mobile unit is "an addition to the humanitarian initiatives that depict the pioneer role shouldered by the U.A.E. in this respect".
For his part, Dr. Adel Al Shamri, CEO of the Zayed Giving Initiative, said the medical mobile unit for children would focus on four basic programmes: curative, surgical, preventive and training programmes, adding that the campaign aims at providing better services to the poor children worldwide.
