20 killed in Tikrit car bomb attack

Twenty civilians were killed, and 45 others injured following a car explosion in the district of Dujail, south of Tikrit, northwest of Baghdad. The bombing was targeting a council of consolation. A source told Arab Today that an ambulance transferred the injured people to a hospital to receive treatment, whilst the bodies of those killed were taken to a forensic. Security forces imposed a security cordon to prevent any potential developments in the area, the source added.
