
Egyptian Armed Forces Spokesman Mohammad Samir announced Sunday that 252 armed terrorists were killed in North Sinai over the past 11 days.
In a statement released on Sunday, the spokesman said as many as 252 terrorist elements were killed, 13 wanted elements and 63 suspects were arrested from July 1 till July 11.
In the same period, 18 hideouts for the terrorist groups were destroyed, while 29 vehicles laden with arms and ammunition and rockets were damaged.
Also, 43 unlicensed motorbikes, 32 explosive charges were destroyed by the Army, while four arms warehouses were found in the district of Hok el Hosan. The warehouses included various types of arms, communication devices, RPG rockets, automatic rifles, hand grenades, ammunition magazines explosive belts and wires used for smuggling via tunnels on the borders with Gaza Strip.
