Libyan soldiers set free three Egyptian workers held hostage by militants in Al Saberi neighborhood of Benghazi.
In statements on Sunday, Spokesman for the Military Engineering Troops in the Army Serag al Tayera said military engineering units on Saturday night set free three Egyptian workers who were held hostage by extremist militants in Benghazi.
The workers were moved to hospital to undergo checkups before deporting them home.
The military engineering units have launched a large-scale combing operation to detect mines planted by militants in Saberi district of Benghazi.
