Some 45,000 Syrian Kurds fleeing clashes with Islamic State (IS) militants have entered Turkey a day after Ankara opened up its border, Turkey's deputy prime minister said on Saturday.
"As of now, 45,000 Syrian Kurds have crossed the border and entered the Turkish soil from eight entrance points," Numan Kurtulmus told reporters.
