Algerian forces arrest Al-Qaeda militant

Algerian security forces of Tizi Ouzou arrested an armed man belonging to an Al-Qaeda battalion in the area on Saturday, according to local security sources. Another person has been charged for supporting and contributing a terrorism network in Wadya, in South Tizi Ouzou, 110 km east Algiers. The security forces succeeded in recovering Kalashnikov weapons in possession of the armed man, while the other was able to escape into Wadya forests.
