Algerian forces arrest armed man from Al Qaeda?

Algerian security forces on Thursday arrested an armed man from Al Qaeda’s battalion in Alawana, 540 km east of Algiers. The security forces recovered Kalashnikov weapons from his possession. This operation was carried out after the armed man was ambushed by the Algerian army around 6 pm. In a related development, sources reported that the Algerian army forces surrounded an armed group in Al Balouta mountains (25 kilometers east of Jijel), and sources revealed the group belongs to the Ebad Al Rahman battalion led by Prince "Jelbab".
