Algerian troops arrest 3 gunmen at Mali border

Algerian army troops arrested three gunmen at the border with Mali. The gunmen were said to belong to Tawhid and Jihad movement in the city of Gao. The army troop scouted the area extensively investigating for extremist groups belonging to al-Qaeda or the Tawhid and Jihad. A helicopter circled the area after a tip was given to army sources that a group was trying to infiltrate Algerian borders. They caught the gunmen in a four wheel car which was loaded with weapons and explosives.
