
Dr. Amal Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Speaker of Federal National Council, FNC, has received Jeff Martin, CEO and Founder of Tribal Planet, Tribal Technologies, and Tribal Brands, at the headquarters of the Council.
During the meeting, Mr. Martin congratulated Dr. Al Qubaisi on her election to the presidency of the FNC as the first woman to head an Arab parliamentary institution and in the Middle East.
Mr. Martin extended an invitation to Dr. Al Qubaisi to attend the opening of a great global scientific event to be organised by his organisation on innovation, science and technology, in Silicon Valley in the United States to deliver a keynote speech on the development witnessed by the UAE in all fields, especially in the areas of innovation, looking forward to the future and the UAE's success in its distinguished approach in the overall balanced development and the dissemination of tolerance, security and safety concepts.
Mr. Martin also extended an invitation to Dr. Al Qubaisi to attend the opening ceremony of the National Museum of African American History and Culture, which will be opened by the US President in September.
Martin spent ten years at Apple, for six of which he was Head of Music, Entertainment, and Marketing. He was instrumental in the strategy and marketing for the iMac and Mac OS X, and the strategy for iPhoto and iTunes.
