
Dr. Amal Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC), and her accompanying delegation have visited the Emirati-Jordanian Camp Mrajeeb Al-Fhood in Jordan for the Syrian refugees. Dr. Al Qubaisi and her accompanying are currently on a visit to Jordan.
During the visit, Dr. Al Qubaisi was briefed on the educational, shelter building, sports and entertainment activities and programmes meant for the Syrian refugees. The initiatives have been undertaken as part of the efforts to implement the directives and the vision of the wise leadership as well as its keenness to provide the best living conditions to the needy peoples across the world.
Dr. Al Qubaisi reiterated that the UAE will continue to provide all kinds of support to the Syrians, as per the directives of the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and the tireless efforts of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region and President of the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), represented in the available capabilities in the camp to provide shelter and the most advanced equipment to improve their living conditions and safeguard their human dignity.
She said, ''The UAE will continue to support the Syrians," and praised the UAE leadership's directives and close follow up to deliver aid to the Syrian refugees. "We saw in reality, and with pride, the UAE's distinguished and humanitarian model being implemented as per the directives of the prudent leadership to all UAE humanitarian and charitable organisations."
She also stressed that the UAE's humanitarian momentum was continuing since its establishment by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
