Arab leaders are due to wrap up their 25th summit, chaired by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, on Wednesday with the announcement of Kuwait Declaration. His Highness the Amir will give the concluding speech at the session later today. Egypt will give a speech too because it will host the next summit. The summit will announce Kuwait Declaration which will cover a host of issues of interest to the Arab people. Arab people are hoping the summit, the first to be held in Kuwait since the country joined the Arab League in 1961, will mark a new beginning of the common arab action amidst inter-Arab conflicts and the bloody conflict in Syria, in addition to the Palestinian cause, the Arab-Israeli conflict and the divisions among the Palestinians. The Arab leaders, during two sessions yesterday, gave speeches about the Palestinian cause, the Syrian conflict, terrorism, and economic and social issues. First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah will give a joint news conference with Arab League Secretary General Nabil Al-Araby following the summit.
