A primitive bomb exploded at the reserve gas pipeline south of Port Said early Wednesday but no casualties were reported. Police said the blast caused a 20-centimeter hole in the gas line located at the intersection between the international coastal line and Port Said/Dameitta road. Terrorists mistakenly planted the bomb close to the empty gas pipes and not the full one, sparing the entire area a real disaster. Explosives sappers examined the bomb and said it was different from the other explosive devices used in the previous terrorist attacks. Police forces are combing Qabooti area, stronghold of runaway MB leader Aklram el-Shaar, which is so close to the blast site. Source: MENA
