An Iraqi policemen was killed on Thursday after the bomb he was attempting to dismantle blew up a car in Salahuddin province, 170 kilometres north of Baghdad. "The car was parked near a restaurant in Tikrit. The city's police received a report that the car was armed, but the bomb exploded and killed a policeman while he was trying to dismantle it," a security source told Arabstoday.
